Yolancris showcases a stunning collection inspired by Marquise Luisa Casati, blending historical influences with modern design at Madrid’s Fashion Week.

At Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid, Yolancris presented its highly anticipated Fall/Winter 2025/2026 collection, captivating attendees with a masterful fusion of historical influences and modern design sensibilities. This season’s collection draws significant inspiration from the life and style of Marquise Luisa Casati, an iconic early 20th-century Italian muse celebrated for her extravagant and avant-garde aesthetic. Yolanda Pérez, the creative director of Yolancris, adeptly reinterpreted Casati’s essence, incorporating elements of Catalan Modernism, the rebellious attitude characteristic of the 1970s, and the artistic nuance associated with Mariano Fortuny.

The runway display featured a rich variety of silhouettes, including flowing tunics, enveloping coats, trousers inspired by the 1970s, and straight dresses embellished with Art Deco motifs. The craftsmanship highlighted in this collection was particularly striking, with luxurious materials such as leather, lace, velvet, and silk gauze on prominent display. Many of the garments showcased hand-embroidered details and intricate pleating techniques, a testament to Yolancris’s commitment to artisanal excellence. All items in the collection are handcrafted in the brand’s Barcelona atelier, emphasizing their focus on quality and local production.

A few standout pieces from the Yolancris Fall/Winter 2025/2026 lineup particularly captivated the audience. Notable designs included a structured velvet-trimmed cape featuring gold embroidery, which echoed Fortuny’s historic textile artistry. Another highlight was a floor-length lace gown, intricately adorned with beadwork, which offered a modern interpretation of Catalan artistic traditions. A bold leather corset worn with wide-legged trousers added a rock-and-roll edge to the otherwise sophisticated presentation, while a silk-draped ensemble, enriched with delicate pleating, evoked the grandeur associated with Casati’s renowned soirées.

Founded in 2005 by sisters Yolanda and Cristina Pérez, Yolancris has continuously pushed the boundaries of conventional fashion, earning international recognition. The brand currently reaches over 30 countries and regularly participates in prominent fashion weeks, including those in Paris, New York, and Barcelona. The Fall/Winter 2025/2026 collection not only celebrates historical influences but also emphasizes the empowerment and authenticity of the contemporary woman, reflecting the brand’s core values of versatility, timeless elegance, and self-expression.

For individuals interested in exploring the collection further, Yolancris maintains a boutique showroom located at Avenida Diagonal 508 in Barcelona, where clients can browse and order from their extensive range of designs.
