Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week (BBFW) 2025 is gearing up to be a landmark event in the bridal industry, with a significant increase in participants and exhibition space compared to previous editions. Scheduled to take place from April 23 to 27, 2025, the event will unfold at the Montjuic Venue-Fira Barcelona, showcasing collections from 450 brands across a four-day span.

The event will feature runway presentations from April 23 to 26, where designers will introduce their 2026 collections. Additionally, a Trade Show is planned for April 25 to 27, allowing buyers an opportunity to secure orders from participants. This year’s edition boasts a 29% increase in exhibition space over 2024, expanding into Hall 8 to accommodate a catwalk and fashion village. A dedicated networking hub for industry professionals will also be established in Plaza Universo, enhancing the experience for all attendees.

According to Albasarí Caro, the Director of BBFW, “BBFW has become the industry’s must-attend event for doing business and setting future trends, which is why the fair continues to grow in volume, opportunities, diversity and internationality.” This year, 82% of the participating brands represent various countries including Italy, Germany, the United Kingdom, Japan, the United States, Ukraine, Poland, and Turkey.

Prominent Spanish brands will feature prominently at the event, including YolanCris, Sophie et Voila, Isabel Sanchis, Tot-Hom, Cortana, and Marco & Maria. Adding to the local presence, BBFW 2025 will highlight ‘The Edit Barcelona’ space, designed to uplift local companies with growth potential.

The international lineup boasts brands such as Temperley London, Modeca, and Mariana Hardwick, with the latter two making their debut at the fair. Participants will also include Grace Loves Lace, noted for its commitment to sustainability, and The 2nd Skin Co., known for its handmade creations that cater to bridal fashion enthusiasts. American brands Justin Alexander, Morilee, Randy Fenoli, and Allure will also be represented alongside European labels such as Savannah Miller and Demetrios.

The highlight of the event will be the gala, Barcelona Bridal Night, which will showcase the latest collection from the iconic British designer Vivienne Westwood at the Universitat de Barcelona. Furthermore, Canadian bridal designer Ines Di Santo is set to grace the Montjuic runway for the first time, recognized for her luxury and sophistication in bridal fashion. The French brand Cymbeline is returning under a rebranded focus, emphasizing sustainability and innovation.

Ukrainian designers including Katy Corso, Woná Concept, Eva Lendel, and Yuliia Lobachóva with her brand Ricca Sposa will also present their collections.

In summary, BBFW 2025 is shaping up to be a pivotal gathering for professionals in the global bridal sector, offering extensive networking opportunities for entrepreneurs, buyers, and stakeholders alike.
