The Retro Doll Haus fashion show in Sacramento promises a vibrant celebration of vintage styles, featuring celebrity stylist Hannah B. and eclectic designs reminiscent of several decades.
The “Retro Doll Haus” fashion show is set to take place in Sacramento this weekend, providing a vibrant platform for vintage fashion enthusiasts. This notable event will occur on Saturday, March 29th, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Hyatt House, located in Midtown Sacramento, right across from Sutter’s Fort.
Hannah B., a prominent celebrity stylist known for her passion for vintage fashion, will be leading the show. In a recent discussion, she emphasized the excitement surrounding the event, stating, “We wanted to bring the continuation of the Retro Dollhouse to Hyatt House. It was just a perfect marketing brand.” This year, the show not only seeks to spotlight vintage fashion but also embraces a themed experience modeled after a dollhouse, inspired by past shows which lit up the area during California’s fashion week.
The fashion show aims to celebrate World Fashion Week by showcasing an array of bold and eclectic styles. Attendees are encouraged to dress accordingly, with the theme coined as “doll core,” enhancing the overall immersive experience of the event.
Models will display an assortment of fashions that span several decades, highlighting unique outfits that capture the essence of retro styles. For example, a featured model named Miss Lola will strut the runway in a Paco Rabanne influenced chain top paired with 80s ski pants, a harmonious blend of unique eyewear and textures specifically designed for a standout doll-like appearance.
Another highlight will be Cameron, who will showcase a look layered with textures and vibrant colors, featuring an array of accessories, including a pebbled leather messenger bag and vintage gloves reminiscent of the styles popular in the 1980s. Hannah B. pointed out the thoughtfulness behind each ensemble: “We wanted to mix up different styles with lots of layers, textures, colors,” she explained.
Madison, another model in the show, will feature a sheer metallic dress, complemented with vintage fur and distinct accessories that encapsulate the head-to-toe fashion ethos that the show aims to promote.
Tickets for the event are currently available through Eventbrite. Prices vary, with VIP tables going for $100 and entry-level VIP tables at $65, while student pricing is set at a more accessible $25.
This fashion show not only celebrates vintage styles but also highlights the rich cultural fabric of Sacramento as it aligns with global fashion trends. Attendees can expect an engaging evening filled with fashion, creativity, and the artistic flair of local talent, all under the creative direction of Hannah B. and her team.
