Racer Worldwide, led by Mihhail Zigadlo, will launch its new ‘Spring Break’ collection, featuring a mockumentary presentation and an interactive storytelling platform, MyRacer.

Racer Worldwide, under the direction of founder Mihhail Zigadlo and styled by Lana Jay Lackey, is set to unveil its new Spring/Summer 2025 collection titled “Spring Break” this week. Building on the success of last season’s debut show in Paris with the “Core Memory” collection, Racer aims to immerse audiences in the vibrancy and chaos of youth culture during the years 2007 to 2013.

The new collection explores the aesthetics of this pivotal era, characterized by influences from Tumblr, popular television shows like iCarly and Jersey Shore, and the initial bursts of social media. The presentation will take the form of a “mockumentary,” an innovative format that reflects the playful and sometimes chaotic spirit of the era.

Significantly, Racer Worldwide is launching MyRacer, a digital storytelling platform that pays homage to early social media sites like MySpace. MyRacer provides an interactive experience where runway looks are linked to fictional teen characters, each equipped with their own profiles, images, vlogs, and narratives. This platform invites users to engage further by allowing them to chat with these characters through the Racer Worldwide website, creating a multifaceted and immersive experience that expands beyond traditional fashion showcases.

Through the “Spring Break” collection, Racer seeks to counter modern minimalist trends with vibrant colors and heightened emotion. The collection embraces a maximalist approach, positioning itself as a celebration of a more colorful and exuberant time in fashion, marked by a sense of fun and bold expression. As the unveiling approaches, Racer Worldwide continues to reinforce its commitment to youth culture and innovative storytelling.
