Premium menswear brand ENGYNE has made its debut in India, aiming to blend local craftsmanship with international design while focusing on quality materials and a unique shopping experience.

Premium menswear brand ENGYNE has officially launched in India, marking a significant entry into the country’s fashion market. Founded by a team of industry veterans—Gnanaprakash, Karthikeyan K., Karthikeyan P., Ramesh Kumar, and Dinesh D.—the brand aims to meld local craftsmanship with international design sensibilities. The founders bring a wealth of experience from working with high-profile multinational companies such as Guess and Diesel.

Located in Bangalore, ENGYNE is set to release its Spring-Summer 2025 collection, which focuses on well-crafted wardrobe staples. The collection is notable for its use of high-quality materials, specifically Supima cottons and Supima blend yarns, ensuring that garments provide softness, durability, and comfort for the wearer.

To enhance the aesthetic appeal and functionality of its apparel, ENGYNE employs modern printing techniques and features exquisite embroidery across a variety of premium textures. These include mis-jersey, micro-pique, interlock, jacquard, and cross-loop French terry, which contribute to the unique feel and performance of the clothing.

ENGYNE adopts a Digital First and Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) strategy, with the collection available for purchase exclusively on the brand’s official website. Following the online launch, plans are in place for the release of a mobile application for both iOS and Android platforms, further enhancing accessibility for consumers.

In an effort to ensure high quality in its products, ENGYNE operates a vertically integrated manufacturing facility. Dinesh D., one of the directors of the company, emphasized this advantage, stating, “Owning a vertically integrated manufacturing facility is a special benefit. From fabric selection to final stitching, we control every step, enabling us to provide quality craftsmanship at a fraction of the cost.” He noted that all ENGYNE garments undergo the same rigorous quality inspections as items that are sold at three times the price.

To attract urban millennials and fashion-forward professionals, ENGYNE plans to implement influencer collaborations and engaging social media campaigns. The brand is also looking to expand its offerings within the upcoming season, anticipating the addition of shirts, chinos, jackets, and denim to its product line.

Moreover, a forward-looking strategy includes the potential for international shipping, allowing ENGYNE to promote Indian craftsmanship on a global stage.
