Palmstreet marks its fifth anniversary with a B(earth)day event from April 22-27, offering discounts, giveaways, and pledging tree donations to support environmental causes, while celebrating the growth of its unique live shopping platform.

On April 22, 2025, the live online shopping platform Palmstreet marked its fifth anniversary, coinciding with Earth Day. To celebrate, the platform launched a week-long B(earth)day event running from April 22 to April 27, featuring discounts, giveaways, and special promotions for its users. Additionally, Palmstreet pledged to donate one tree for every order placed on Earth Day, with a cap of 5,000 trees, in partnership with environmental organization One Tree Planted.

Founded in 2020 as a marketplace primarily for common and rare plants, Palmstreet has since diversified to include categories such as lifestyle items, crystals, pottery, clean beauty products, and live reptiles. The platform combines live selling with an interactive experience, allowing buyers to engage with sellers in real time through live streams.

The anniversary festivities kicked off on April 21 with a Town Hall live event that included in-app credit giveaways and prizes from sellers across different categories. Throughout the week, users could take advantage of platform-wide 10% discounts (up to $20) on live purchases, with additional joint coupons available during live sessions hosted by Foundation and Partner Sellers. On April 26, Palmstreet waived selling fees for all items sold during live streams.

Chen Li, CEO and Co-Founder of Palmstreet, commented on the event, saying, “We’re thrilled to see the success Palmstreet has achieved, not only as an app, but within our seller and buyer communities as well. As the backbone of the platform, this B(Earth)day is dedicated to both our planet and our loyal consumers and sellers.”

Since its launch, Palmstreet has facilitated over 2 million item sales and attracted 200,000 monthly users. Some top sellers on the platform have reportedly earned more than $1 million annually, highlighting the app’s role in enabling entrepreneurs to move beyond traditional employment. The platform has been featured in media outlets such as Entrepreneur, CNBC, and Real Simple and has initiated environmental campaigns like “Grow 8 Billion Plants” to promote sustainability.

Palmstreet remains available on iOS and Google Play, continuing to expand its live shopping community while emphasizing eco-friendly initiatives aligned with its Earth Day celebration.
