Celebrity stylist Clare Richardson launches a nationwide tour celebrating her collaboration with Reluxe Fashion and Madewell, offering personalized styling tips and promoting sustainable, inclusive vintage fashion throughout 2025.

Clare Richardson, a renowned stylist known for her work with celebrities such as Jennifer Aniston, Margot Robbie, and Daisy Edgar-Jones, has recently been engaging with the public through a nationwide tour celebrating a collaboration between her luxury resale platform, Reluxe Fashion, and the apparel brand Madewell. Traveling across various states in cities from Austin to Washington, D.C., Richardson has been offering personalized styling advice, focusing on how to integrate vintage pieces from Reluxe Fashion with Madewell’s denim collections.

The collaboration highlights a commitment to sustainable and slow fashion, aiming to elevate the experience of shopping secondhand clothing while addressing inclusivity challenges often associated with vintage fashion. Clare Richardson, who has long been a vintage fashion advocate since her university days at Central Saint Martins, explained the motivation behind creating Reluxe Fashion as a curated platform that brings an editorial and expert touch to secondhand shopping. She expressed her desire to remove the stigma around purchasing vintage clothing and to create a shopping experience that feels thoughtful and stylish rather than overwhelming.

Richardson noted that her interest in vintage stems from values of sustainability and quality, though she admits that as her life became busier, hunting for vintage items became less enjoyable. Reluxe Fashion now serves as a solution by carefully curating selections to reflect the tastes and preferences of its customers. She cited data from recent product drops with Madewell, noting that items like jackets, bags, and belts performed particularly well. These insights allowed the team to tailor offerings both online and at in-person events.

Inclusivity has been a key focus for the collaboration. Richardson acknowledged the historic difficulties in finding diverse sizes in vintage fashion and praised Madewell’s wide size range in denim, which complements the curated vintage pieces. She said, “We try to bear that in mind when we’re sourcing,” emphasizing the importance of accessibility in their collections.

The partnership between Reluxe Fashion and Madewell also reflects a deeper commitment from both brands to quality, style, and circularity in fashion. Laura Michael, Madewell’s head of brand marketing and creative, stated, “Reluxe and Clare share our dedication to incredible quality, style, and circularity. Our partnership is an ideal representation of that philosophy, bringing together the effortless sensibility of Madewell and the curated luxury of Reluxe.”

The latest drop launched in April 2025 features items like airy lace blouses and suede tassel coats designed to complement Madewell’s denim. The campaign is fronted by Cameron Russell, a model and sustainable fashion advocate who is also a friend of Richardson. During the tour events, Richardson continues to engage directly with customers, providing styling tips that emphasize confidence and self-celebration. She remarked on the challenge of navigating the overwhelming flood of options found on social media, saying that helping women discover their personal style remains central to her work.

Reflecting on her interaction with everyday customers, Richardson said, “Everybody has their hang-ups, their confidence, their questions,” and shared her signature styling advice: “Show more skin… You are gorgeous. Undo that button on your shirt—one more. Celebrate you.”

This collaboration exemplifies a blending of high-end vintage curation with contemporary sustainable fashion practices, underscoring a growing trend towards thoughtful consumption in the fashion industry. The ongoing partnership between Reluxe Fashion and Madewell is set to continue offering new curated drops and styling opportunities throughout 2025.
