3D Cloud announces the appointment of Geoffrey Mark as Executive Director, aiming to transform 3D product catalog management for retailers and manufacturers.

3D Cloud, a company specializing in 3D product visualization and digital asset management, has announced the appointment of Geoffrey Mark as Executive Director for Home Furnishings and Office. Mark previously served as the Director of CGI Strategy and Operations at Crate and Barrel, where he played a pivotal role in transitioning the company from traditional photography to 3D technologies. This shift not only enhanced the company’s product imagery but also contributed significantly to its revenue and operational efficiency.

During his tenure at Crate and Barrel, Mark was responsible for creating millions of photorealistic images and developing tens of thousands of 3D product models. He established partnerships with more than 25 vendors to bolster image quality and accuracy. Additionally, he implemented innovative digital visualization tools and spearheaded initiatives that reduced 3D modeling costs by 43%.

In his new position at 3D Cloud, Mark aims to modernize how retailers and manufacturers manage their 3D product catalogs, moving away from cumbersome spreadsheets to a more efficient and scalable platform-based management system. Beck Besecker, CEO and Co-Founder of 3D Cloud, expressed enthusiasm about bringing Mark on board, stating, “He understands the challenges our clients face because he’s been in their shoes.”

Mark himself expressed excitement about the opportunity, stating, “I’m thrilled to join this team of specialists who have solved so many of the challenges that I encountered during my time at Crate and Barrel.” He emphasized 3D Cloud’s commitment to enhancing both the customer experience and internal operations for its clients.

3D Cloud provides a variety of services including 3D kitchen design, product configurators, and room planning solutions. The company caters to numerous high-profile clients in the home furnishings industry, including MillerKnoll, Herman Miller, and Macy’s. With physical offices across the United States and in London, 3D Cloud aims to further its reach in the growing market for 3D product visualization.
