Fashion designer Anja Gockel showcases her latest collection, ‘Out of the Dark,’ celebrating women’s resilience and creativity with a vibrant runway event in Berlin.

Fashion designer Anja Gockel unveiled her Autumn/Winter 2025 collection, titled “Out of the Dark,” during an extraordinary event held at the exclusive venue Paris 44, located on Pariser Straße 44 in Berlin-Wilmersdorf. The fashion show, which showcased Gockel’s innovative designs, took place in an atmosphere infused with both the vibrancy of international dance and the intimacy of Berlin’s salon culture, creating a unique environment that emphasized artistic exchange and engagement.

The collection is an homage to women’s resilience, creativity, and courage, aimed at celebrating their ability to find innovation even in the most challenging circumstances. Gockel’s presentation attracted numerous celebrities from the television and fashion industries, including renowned personalities such as Didi Hallervorden and Harald Glööckler.

The color palette of the new collection features timeless tones, such as black, cream, sheer white, and cognac, which serve as the foundation for various outfits. Accents of bold hues like saffron, orchid, and sky blue provide striking contrasts that highlight the feminine strength embodied in the collection. The flowing cuts and luxurious, sustainable materials used in the designs ensure that the garments are not only visually appealing but also pragmatic for women of all ages and suitable for a wide range of occasions.

Among the standout elements of the collection are intricate details, oversized prints, artistic draping, and flattering silhouettes that contribute to a dynamic aesthetic. Specific patterns, including pinstripes, are employed to draw attention to both professional and casual looks, with flowing dresses featuring bold stripes catering to everyday wear and sophisticated pinstripe ensembles accentuating business attire. Anja Gockel’s floor-length evening gowns, designed to convey elegance and strength, further solidify the collection’s overarching themes.

The show’s choreography, created by Lia Kemendi, involved dancers who brought a captivating dimension to the runway through a combination of light and shadow, enhancing the thematic essence of resilience present in the collection. The high-contrast performances delivered a visually stunning experience, with moments that stirred emotion among the audience.

Gockel expressed her vision for the collection as a call for women to embrace their strength and step into the light, marking a new beginning. The collection is framed not only as a tribute to the resilience of women but also as a reinvention of societal boundaries. The event culminated with Gockel herself taking to the stage alongside her dancers, receiving an enthusiastic response from the audience in the form of thunderous applause.

The event was further supported by various contributors, including Chris Gonz for photography, Paul Mitchell for hair, and Crotalia for jewelry, showcasing the collaborative spirit that surrounds Gockel’s creative endeavors. The presentation of “Out of the Dark” stands as both a fashion show and a celebration of the indomitable spirit of women, reinforcing Anja Gockel’s place in the contemporary fashion landscape.
