Tareet, founded by Etienne Diop, is recognized for its unique approach to design that merges Senegalese craftsmanship with French streetwear aesthetics. The essence of the “Label Liggey Yat” collection is deeply rooted in the concept of sustainability, drawing inspiration from Fe?gg Diaye, a renowned market in Senegal where old textiles are transformed into new garments. The new capsule by ASICS and Tareet features bespoke babouches—traditional Moroccan slip-on shoes—crafted by incorporating elements of ASICS’s GEL-Quantum Kinetic sneaker.
