Irish fashion brand AVOCA showcased its latest collection featuring a blend of Seventies flair and early 2000s aesthetics at the iconic former Jameson Estate in Wicklow.
AVOCA, a prominent Irish fashion brand, recently showcased its Spring/Summer 2025 collection at the historic former Jameson Estate located within the picturesque AVOCA handweavers grounds in Wicklow. The event highlighted the brand’s embrace of upscale bohemian vibes, which have emerged as one of the most significant fashion trends for 2025.
The presentation, which took place amid the elegant surroundings of the estate, featured a collection that blends Seventies flair with the cool-girl aesthetic of the early 2000s. This combination has resulted in a vibrant array of flared denim, feminine blouses, and an explosion of prints that have captured attention as one of AVOCA’s most distinctive offerings to date.
Curated by stylist Catherine Condell, the showcase included designs from the American label Free People, a name synonymous with boho chic. Also presented were swirling prints from Never Fully Dressed, featuring printed jackets and Seventies-inspired embroidered denim. Flowing dresses tailored for summer parties and idyllic getaways were abundant, signifying a commitment to versatile and trendy outfits suitable for various occasions.
The collection also introduced newer brands within the AVOCA fold, such as Rino & Pelle, which showcased colorful knits and textured jackets in flattering neutral and pink tones. American Vintage contributed to the transition into spring, while Recitem debuted its avant-garde handbags, including the popular banana crossbody style available in different buckle and cord options. AVOCA is also placing emphasis on everyday wear, featuring Irish brands such as Due South and the Gaelic slogan Fukil tees.
Maoliosa Connell, the Director of Marketing, Creative and Brand at AVOCA, expressed enthusiasm about the current season. In her remarks, she noted, “Stepping into spring/summer 2025 is a very exciting time for the business as we continue to nurture our roots and grow as a brand.” She outlined the introduction of innovative lines including Free People, Varley, and Rino & Pelle, while also emphasizing the ongoing development of AVOCA’s own brand collections.
Connell further revealed the debut of the much-anticipated Tri-Colour Scarf, handwoven in AVOCA’s historic 300-year-old mill in Avoca village, County Wicklow. This scarf features subtle hues paired with a striking emerald pop, underscoring the brand’s connection to its heritage while appealing to contemporary fashion sensibilities.
