B SHOP has released a new PUMA track jacket in a special edition designed to capture retro nostalgia and meet contemporary fashion trends.

B SHOP has unveiled a special edition track jacket in collaboration with PUMA, catering to the growing trends of retro nostalgia and sports mix styles. This release comes at a time when the fashion world is witnessing a resurgence of interest in track jackets, once a staple of athletic wear and street fashion.

Originally intended for athletes to wear during warm-ups and between competitions, track jackets gained broad popularity in the 1980s and 1990s. They were notably embraced by hip-hop artists and dancers, transforming them into icons of streetwear. Renowned for their stretchability, lightweight feel, and resistance to wrinkling, these jackets also serve as practical outerwear during transitional seasons.

Among the various models available, B SHOP has highlighted the T7 track jacket, an iconic piece from PUMA that has maintained a loyal following since its launch in 1968. This jacket is characterized by its distinctive 7 cm wide stripe on the shoulder and the classic PUMA logo on the chest, which collectively exude a quintessential retro vibe.

The new edition at B SHOP features a color scheme specifically designed to enhance its nostalgic appeal. Additionally, the jacket’s length has been shortened in comparison to its classic counterpart, allowing for versatile styling with a range of bottoms. This design tweak aims to resonate with both longtime fans of track jackets and a contemporary audience, offering a fresh take on a beloved piece.

The special edition PUMA track jacket is presently available through the official B SHOP online store and at various retail locations. Shoppers can choose between two colors—beige and black—with a retail price of 12,100 yen, which includes tax.
