The latest collection titled ‘Interwoven’ by Ruby Slevin showcases the artistic collaboration with Eleanor Ekserjian, highlighting bespoke tailoring and creative expression.

In a remarkable blend of fashion and art, the latest collection from Banshee of Savile Row, designed by Ruby Slevin, showcases the intersection between tailored garments and abstract creativity. This collection, titled Interwoven, was unveiled at an autumn/winter 2025 show held at Messum’s Art Gallery in London, where the vibrant backdrop of artist Eleanor Ekserjian’s works played a significant role.

The collaboration between Slevin and Ekserjian originated from a client-designer relationship, evolving into a partnership characterized by a shared passion for craftsmanship and design. Speaking to Irish Country Magazine, Ruby Slevin described the experience of creating this collection as “a dream come true to put this together and one of those pinch me moments that don’t happen everyday in life.”

As part of the creative process, Slevin drew upon her Irish heritage by providing Ekserjian with Donegal Tweed and Irish linen swatches to inspire her artwork. The fashion show featured a striking display with Ekserjian’s finished paintings on linen canvases providing an artistic backdrop. A standout moment occurred when Ekserjian live-painted a crisp white Banshee coat, further emphasizing the theme of wearable art during the presentation.

Slevin expressed her vision for the collection, stating, “I wanted to create a collection that embodied the precision and craftsmanship of Savile Row, turning it into wearable abstraction in the spirit of individuality that I see in bespoke tailored garments.” This mission aligns with the ethos of Banshee of Savile Row as the first and only fully bespoke tailoring house for women on Savile Row, which derives its name from the powerful feminine symbolism associated with Irish folklore.

The collection includes a striking tuxedo style look that blends feminine and masculine elements, featuring a silk bow tie adorned with Eleanor’s graphic print. Additional items in the collection—such as pocket squares, neck ties, and silk shirts—also reflect this unique artistic touch, with each item featuring its own distinct pattern, marking them as limited edition styles.

For those interested in bespoke tailoring that combines longevity and personalization, Ruby Slevin invites potential clients to arrange private design consultations through the Banshee of Savile Row website.
