Los Angeles menswear label Buck Mason teams up with iconic denim brand Lee, featuring singer Mark Wystrach in a new six-piece collection that celebrates American heritage.
Buck Mason, a Los Angeles-based menswear label, has teamed up with the iconic denim brand Lee, enlisting Midland singer Mark Wystrach as the face of their new six-piece capsule collection. This collaboration combines Buck Mason’s mid-century California aesthetic with Lee’s rich American heritage, featuring a range of products including jeans, suede and denim jackets, and bandanas. The collection, which ranges in price from $128 to $898, is currently available on both brands’ websites while supplies last, and certain items are already experiencing sell-outs.
The campaign imagery captures Wystrach embodying “the golden days of Hollywood,” reflecting an era when rugged actors famously sported Lee jeans on and off the silver screen. “Lee is such a big piece of the puzzle when it comes to American denim and workwear,” remarked Kyle Fitzgibbons, chief creative officer at Buck Mason. He highlighted the significance of the 1940s, noting, “That’s when we saw the first version of the 101 in modern form. The influence those jeans had on American culture from that point forward, it informs so much of what we do at Buck Mason today. It was like a dream for us, getting to connect those dots.”
Among the notable items in the collection is the 91-B jacket, crafted from what Buck Mason describes as Rambler Suede, designed to evoke styles from the Sixties and Seventies. The denim jacket and jeans are made from loomstate selvedge denim, with the jacket featuring distinctive details such as Lee’s trademark zig-zag stitch placket, and the jeans offering a classic straight fit.
Brigid Stevens, global vice president of marketing at Lee, expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration, stating, “The Buck Mason team does an incredible job with storytelling, and we’re thrilled to have Mark in this campaign. The images do a great job paying tribute to the capsule’s historic inspiration while remaining true to the Lee of today.”
The Buck Mason x Lee collection is now available, and customers are encouraged to shop the offerings while supplies last.
