Burberry’s fall 2025 show at Tate Britain featured a host of celebrities, including Jason Isaacs and Naomi Campbell, under the creative direction of Daniel Lee, capturing a theme inspired by the British countryside.
Burberry’s fall 2025 show, an event rich with star power, took place on Monday at the Tate Britain, marking the close of London Fashion Week. Under the creative direction of Daniel Lee, the British luxury brand showcased its latest collection featuring a lineup of celebrated figures from the UK.
Among the prominent personalities gracing the runway was Jason Isaacs, recognized for his role in the forthcoming season of HBO’s “White Lotus.” Isaacs made a stylish entrance in a dark gray trench coat, complemented by a red checkered umbrella. Reflecting on the experience, he remarked to Vogue, “Burberry is sophisticated British elegance if you ask me. I feel honored to be here.”
Joining Isaacs on the runway was Richard E. Grant, known for his role in “Saltburn,” who presented an olive green tweed jacket accentuated with a thistle brooch. The women’s segment featured notable actresses such as Lesley Manville from “The Crown,” who donned a black velvet trench coat, and Elizabeth McGovern of “Downton Abbey,” who sported a chic black leather trench coat. Lee articulated the reasoning behind including such esteemed actors, stating that it felt “so natural to ask such incredible and respected actors to participate,” emphasizing their contributions to British television and film, alongside the fashion narrative.
The lineup also included Lila Grace Moss, daughter of supermodel Kate Moss, who wore a floral quilted coat paired with a matching midi skirt. Naomi Campbell, a longtime muse of Burberry, graced the runway in a striking dark purple jacket with a fringe skirt. Other models from past seasons like Edie Campbell, Erin O’Connor, and Karen Elson also participated this year, contributing to a diverse and glamorous showcase.
The audience, positioned in the front row, comprised a mix of celebrities including Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz, who were noted for their coordinated Burberry plaid pants. Also in attendance were Kim Cattrall, Georgia May Jagger with her mother Jerry Hall, actress Jodie Turner-Smith, and Camila Mendes, creating a lively atmosphere filled with high-profile figures.
Daniel Lee’s inspiration for this latest line stemmed from the British countryside, capturing a theme of urban escape. He described in the show notes the essence of the collection: “It’s that great Friday night exodus from London,” likening the pieces to “long rainy walks in the great outdoors to disconnect and day trips to grand stately homes.” This theme resonated throughout the collection, tying back to quintessentially British aesthetics and lifestyle.
