The limited-edition collection includes 14 pieces inspired by the vibrant fashion of the 1970s and is now back on the market after selling out quickly.

Joanie Clothing has announced the restock of its highly sought-after collaboration with renowned print designer Celia Birtwell. This limited-edition collection consists of 14 pieces, including 12 dresses and two blouses, and is inspired by the vibrant fashion of the 1970s. The collection, which initially sold out almost immediately, is now back on the market, much to the delight of fans and shoppers alike.

Celia Birtwell, celebrated as one of the most influential textile designers of her generation, gained recognition for her whimsical floral patterns and bold prints. She is also noted for her artistic collaborations, particularly with iconic British fashion designer Ossie Clark and renowned artist David Hockney, who regarded her as a muse. Her unique designs have played a key role in shaping the fashion landscape, especially during the cultural boom of the late ’60s and early ’70s.

In discussing the collaboration with Joanie Clothing, Birtwell expressed her enthusiasm, stating, “When I was approached by Joanie, I was delighted to find that an enthusiastic company, run by sharp and savvy women who knew their market, was interested in using my prints.” She elaborated on the collaborative process, emphasizing that they were able to discuss design elements that would resonate well with modern audiences. “It has been a very harmonious relationship, and I have thoroughly enjoyed working on the collection,” she added.

The latest offering features several standout pieces, infused with Birtwell’s signature styles. The collection includes dresses and blouses made from environmentally conscious chiffon and silky satin-feel fabric, all adorned with eye-catching prints. Among the notable designs is the Marie Antoinette print, originally devised in the early 1970s, and the Delaware print, which was prominently featured in various Ossie Clark outfits.

Shoppers can take advantage of a promotion where they can receive up to 20% off the collection by using the code “CELIA20” at checkout until March 10, making this an opportune time to secure items from the restocked line. Prices for the Celia Birtwell x Joanie collection range from £69 to £129 and are available exclusively through Joanie Clothing’s retail channels.

The collection also features various fashionable items, including the Delaware Floral Print Ruffle Collar Wrap Dress, the Michaelmas Daisy Print Cape Sleeve Wrap Dress, and the Marie Antoinette Floral Print Bell Sleeve Maxi Dress, among others. Each piece embodies the bohemian spirit characteristic of the era while maintaining wearability for contemporary wardrobes.
