The new lineup features a colorful blend of aviation inspiration and 1980s rave culture, celebrating individuality and bold expression in fashion.

Chopova Lowena’s fall 2025 collection has made a vibrant debut, inspired by the daring spirit of 20th-century female aviators and skydivers alongside the energetic aesthetic of 1980s acid-house culture. The unveiling took place through a visually striking lookbook that showcases the brand’s unique style, characterized by a combination that is both spirited and rebellious.

The brand, recognized for blending a Harajuku-girl aesthetic with elements of Bulgarian folklore, presented a lineup that stands out for its exuberance and complexity. Described as anything but quiet luxury, the collection is notable for its fun and unapologetically loud expressions, featuring a dizzying array of colors and bold designs. The target demographic appears to be those who are confident and financially secure, unafraid to express their individuality through fashion.

According to Emma Chopova and Laura Lowena, the creative minds behind the brand, the collection pays homage to revolutionary figures in aviation such as Tiny Broadwick and Amelia Earhart, paralleling these influences with the vibrant underground rave culture of the period often dubbed the Second Summer of Love. This thematic connection has shaped the collection’s identity, which merges elements of “aviation and rave-iation.”

Furthermore, the fall lineup is considered to be the brand’s most embellished to date, adorned with intricate floral lace, beads, charms, studs, and patchwork techniques that enrich each piece. A standout symbol of the collection is the butterfly, which appears as kiss-lock fastenings, beaded patterns, and hand-crocheted motifs throughout the garments.

Unique items within the collection include whimsical T-shirts featuring the slogan “Don’t talk to me, I’m flying right now,” humorous cartoon graphic knits, and a range of fashionable items such as faux fur-trimmed denim, glossy two-tone pleated skirts, and iconic PVC-covered check raincoats. Each piece contributes to the overarching narrative of a collection that celebrates individuality and the joy of wearing fashion that is both audacious and expressive.
