CHT will exhibit cutting-edge sustainable textile technologies, including PIGMENTURA and ECOPRINT, at the PERFORMANCE DAYS fair in Munich on March 5 and 6, 2025.

CHT, a foundation-owned company known for its commitment to sustainable textile solutions, is set to participate in the PERFORMANCE DAYS fair in Munich on March 5 and 6, 2025. The company will exhibit its latest sustainable textile technologies at booth E11, emphasizing innovative dyeing processes and functional finishes designed to enhance textile properties.

Among the highlights of CHT’s presentation will be PIGMENTURA, an innovative pigment-based dyeing process that dramatically reduces water and energy consumption. The company reports that this method does not utilize any water for soaping and rinsing, nor does it require the heating of process water, leading to a reduction in water usage by up to 96%. The significance of this technology was recognized when it received the German Federal Ecodesign Award in the Product category in 2024, a testament to the successful collaboration between Inditex and CHT.

Another key offering from CHT is ECOPRINT, a water-based textile printing system that employs reactive and pigment inks. This system meets stringent sustainability standards and has achieved the C2C Certified Material Health Certificate™, contributing to the transition from linear production processes to circular systems within the textile industry.

Additionally, CHT will showcase TUBINGAL® RISE, an innovative softener composed of over 60% recycled silicone waste and emulsifiers from renewable raw materials. This product aims to set new standards for sustainable softeners in the textile sector.

The company will also present ARRISTAN rAIR, a sustainable hydrophilic finish made from recycled PET flakes. This product provides optimal moisture regulation, fast drying, and superior dirt repellency, making it particularly suitable for treating recycled yarns and fabrics, thus reinforcing the principles of the textile circular economy.

In recognition of its commitment to sustainability, CHT was awarded the adiformulator Award by adidas for the second consecutive year in 2024, highlighting its leadership in sustainable innovation within the industry.

CHT continues to focus on a comprehensive sustainability agenda, designing and manufacturing its products according to stringent environmental standards. The company’s initiatives prioritize the use of bio-based, biodegradable, and recycled materials to bolster a circular economy in the textile industry.

Participants of the PERFORMANCE DAYS fair are encouraged to visit CHT’s booth E11 to explore these sustainable innovations. The CHT team anticipates engaging with attendees and providing insights into the evolving landscape of textile sustainability.
