The Classic Car Boot Sale on April 26-27 will bring together vintage enthusiasts for a weekend of sustainable fashion, music, and iconic vehicles in London’s Granary Square.

The Classic Car Boot Sale is set to take place over the weekend of April 26 and 27, transforming Granary Square, Lewis Cubitt Square, and Coal Drops Yard into a vibrant hub of retro-inspired activity. Organized by Wayne Hemingway, the event promises a blend of sustainable fashion and family-friendly entertainment, designed to attract an eclectic gathering of vintage enthusiasts.

Hemingway expressed his enthusiasm for the event, stating, “There’s no cooler gathering in Europe.” He emphasized the allure of London’s vintage crowd, eager to explore and purchase unique items at the market.

One of the highlights of this year’s event is the ‘sustainable shopping’ section, which is distinguished as Britain’s largest outdoor charity fashion market. Attendees can peruse a variety of vintage clothing while participating in engaging activities including do-it-yourself T-shirt design and upcycling workshops. The lively atmosphere is further enhanced by vinyl-spinning DJs and live disco performances at Eddie’s Love Bus, setting the stage for a nostalgic rock’n’roll experience.

In addition to fashion and music, the event introduces a new feature: a pinball and arcade alley, where guests can find the BBC’s Repair Shop presenter Pinball Geoff showcasing his extensive collection of coin-operated arcade game machines, spanning from the 1930s to contemporary offerings.

Car enthusiasts will not be disappointed either, as the sale will feature iconic vehicles, including the legendary Citroën DS, celebrating seven decades since its launch. The Classic Car Boot Sale promises to be an engaging mix of vintage culture, sustainable practices, and family enjoyment, illustrating a commitment to community and commerce in a festive environment.
