The new CLO-Vise plug-in integrates 3D design with Product Lifecycle Management to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency for fashion designers.

A new plug-in, CLO-Vise, has been launched for the BeProduct Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) platform, aiming to enhance the design process for brands and designers in the fashion industry. This integration allows users of BeProduct PLM to access a wide range of product information, such as color, material, and trims, directly within the CLO 3D design environment.

The integration is designed to facilitate the publication of CLO-based 3D assets to the PLM, allowing designers to manage project files, colorway information, and visual renders more efficiently. By merging BeProduct’s Digital Product Creation (DPC) capabilities with CLO’s advanced 3D garment design tools, it is expected that users will be able to centralize their digital assets, optimize approval processes, and collaborate effectively on a global scale.

Key advantages highlighted by industry experts include reduced product development time, cost savings, improved sustainability through better resource management, and enhanced communication among teams. The plug-in is also poised to increase productivity, enabling designers to invest more time in creative endeavors instead of administrative tasks.

Hemant Khandagale, Product Manager at CLO Virtual Fashion, noted, “The integration of CLO 3D and BeProduct PLM through CLO-Vise makes a meaningful step towards streamlining digital product creation. By aligning 3D design with structured product data, we’re enabling teams to work with greater clarity and cohesion – supporting faster decisions and more agile product development.”

Joy Foo, Head of Partnerships at BeProduct, expressed excitement about the launch, stating, “This integration not only enhances our platform but also provides our users with the tools they need to streamline their workflows and bring products to market faster. Together, we are setting a new standard for efficiency and collaboration.”

CLO Virtual Fashion is recognized for its CLO software, which has become a vital resource in the fashion industry, allowing designers to maintain a continuous digital workflow throughout the entire garment creation process. BeProduct, on the other hand, focuses on creating flexible and collaborative solutions for brands and manufacturers looking to improve their product development efficiency.
