Copenhagen Fashion Week (CPHFW) successfully concluded its impactful winter edition for 2025, taking place in January. The event drew a remarkable array of participants, including designers, decision-makers, and prominent voices who are instrumental in shaping the evolving landscape of fashion. With a comprehensive schedule that encompassed runway shows, presentations, and engaging talks, as well as intimate dinners and parties, this season reinforced CPHFW’s position as a vital platform for both emerging and established talent.

A highlight of the season was the official dinner hosted by Copenhagen Fashion Week x Pandora, co-hosted by Dazed, which showcased the Nordic creative scene. By welcoming a guest list that featured buyers, editors, press members, influential opinion leaders, and representatives from leading Nordic brands, the dinner underscored the importance of introducing key voices to a wider international audience. The evening concluded with a vibrant afterparty featuring DJs Atusa, ¡HARTY!, alongside performances by artists Yaeger and Killen, promising an electrifying atmosphere for attendees.

In a significant announcement, CPHFW revealed Iamisigo as the winner of the Zalando Visionary Award 2025. The award, which prioritises creativity, social impact, and innovation, acknowledged the unique contribution of Iamisigo, a fashion brand founded by the Nigerian designer Bubu Ogisi. Iamisigo is celebrated for its innovative fusion of heritage textiles with traditional craft techniques from across Africa, creating contemporary designs that reflect a bold and fresh perspective. As the recipient of this accolade, Iamisigo will receive a monetary prize of €50,000 and is slated to present her upcoming collection during the Copenhagen Fashion Week scheduled for August 2025. In addition, Zalando has committed to supporting the production of Iamisigo’s show, showcasing the brand’s compelling dedication to diversity and innovation.

Throughout the AW25 edition, Copenhagen Fashion Week maintained its commitment to knowledge sharing by hosting a series of talks open to the public. These discussions activated CPHFW’s global network, inviting industry leaders to delve into a variety of relevant topics. In partnership with Vogue Business, the talks not only attracted a live audience but have also been made accessible as podcasts on Spotify, expanding their reach to a broader audience.

Copenhagen Fashion Week continues to embody a significant movement within the fashion industry, promoting innovations in upcycling, zero-waste initiatives, and sustainable fashion practices. The event highlights the critical role of second-hand clothing and slow fashion as effective measures to mitigate environmental impact, reinforcing the growing trend towards sustainability in style choices that do not sacrifice aesthetic value. Through such initiatives and celebrated recognitions, CPHFW sets a precedent for the future of fashion, characterised by creativity and responsibility.
