Designer Snaith’s latest project ‘Night at The Glebe’ introduces a quarterly release of uniquely designed, sustainable fashion pieces that blend personal style with individual expression.

Designer Snaith has launched a new fashion project titled “Night at The Glebe,” marking the start of his 1-of-1 capsule collections, which are set to be released on a quarterly basis. As reported by 10 Magazine, Snaith’s approach focuses on creating uniquely designed pieces that meld his personal style with the individual tastes of the wearer. He emphasizes that the intent behind this collection is to “make pieces that have their own distinct design identity that can be styled and collaged together to create a hybrid between my own personal handwriting and the wearer’s unique style language.”

This collection employs deadstock and repurposed materials, illustrating Snaith’s dedication to sustainable fashion. Among the standout items are dress shirts featuring clashing stripes reconfigured into elegant off-the-shoulder styles, hooded T-shirts adorned with tartan swirls, and ribbed knitted twin sets hand-dyed in a murky blue shade. Additionally, the skirts in the collection feature an angular design, reflecting Snaith’s innovative approach to silhouette and form.

Snaith’s passion for upcycling and distinctive design can be traced back to his childhood, where he began experimenting with clothing by making his own garments from old curtains and modifying existing pieces. He notes, “I started making my own clothes out of old curtains and adjusting my clothes, cropping my school shirts and trying to turn what were ‘conventional’ clothes into something that felt more me.” Through his experiences in a small town, where the opportunity for individual expression was limited, he cultivated a sense of resilience and a commitment to self-expression, stating, “I always felt like an outsider, never feeling like I truly fit in… It definitely made me tough, I grew a thick skin and decided that I was going to just be unapologetically me.”

The collection also draws inspiration from Snaith’s daily wardrobe choices, showcasing pieces that reflect how he incorporates his designs into his everyday life. As “Night at The Glebe” unfolds, it stands as a testament to Snaith’s journey in fashion and his ongoing commitment to creativity and sustainability.
