Dartmoor: Dewerstone, an ethical clothing brand, has unveiled the Impact Threads initiative, providing free t-shirt printing for selected nonprofits to enhance their fundraising efforts and raise awareness, all while promoting sustainability in apparel production through responsible sourcing and practices.

A new initiative designed to support nonprofit organisations has been launched by dewerstone, an ethical clothing brand based in Dartmoor, UK. Named Impact Threads, the programme aims to provide free t-shirt printing for selected nonprofits, facilitating the creation of high-quality merchandise without financial burdens on the organisations.

Rory Atton, the founder of dewerstone, emphasised the company’s commitment to using business as a catalyst for positive change, stating, “By offering free t-shirt printing to nonprofits, we’re giving them a powerful tool to raise awareness, engage supporters, and fund their vital work—all while keeping sustainability at the forefront.”

Each year, dewerstone plans to select a number of nonprofit organisations to receive the t-shirt printing service. The initiative not only aims to amplify the missions of these groups but also assists in strengthening their brand presence through ethically produced apparel. The t-shirts printed under this initiative adhere to responsible production practices, with materials sourced to align with dewerstone’s sustainability goals.

Impact Threads is financially supported by dewerstone through its premium screen printing services and a commitment to donating a portion of every sale to environmental causes. The programme has already extended its support to several notable environmental organisations, providing them with sustainable apparel to further their outreach and fundraising efforts.

Nonprofit organisations interested in participating can apply through dewerstone’s website, with the application process open until 2025. The criteria for selection will depend on the alignment of the organisation’s mission with the goals of the initiative, their potential for impact, and their specific needs.

Dewerstone is a certified B Corporation, reflecting its dedication to ethical business practices, sustainability, and social responsibility within the outdoor and lifestyle sectors.
