Best New Artist Grammy winner Doechii made a striking appearance at the Dsquared2 fall 2025 ready-to-wear show, celebrating the brand’s upcoming 30th anniversary with a homage to Naomi Campbell.

Best New Artist Grammy winner Doechii made a notable appearance at the Dsquared2 fall 2025 ready-to-wear show held in Milan on February 25, marking a significant celebration for the brand as it prepares for its 30th anniversary in 2025. The show was themed around memorable highlights from the past three decades, and featured a homage to iconic moments in fashion history, particularly focusing on supermodel Naomi Campbell’s striking debut during the Autumn 2003 show.

At the event, Doechii recreated Campbell’s memorable opening act from over 20 years ago, when the British supermodel famously sprinted down a red carpet runway toward an airplane. During the original performance, Campbell made headlines by tossing shopping bags into the crowd and showcasing an impressive runway walk dressed in a striking ensemble consisting of belted mini shorts, a plunging halter neck, and a stylish cable knit sweater with tassels.

In her interpretation, Doechii made a dramatic entrance from a military vehicle, where she fanned and dropped a wad of cash onto the floor, before taking off with a powerful run down the runway. The outfit she donned included similar belted mini shorts, alongside a corset top, an avant-garde parka, and a T-shirt with a flowing train. Adding to the unconventional style, she completed her look with strappy heeled sandals reminiscent of the designers’ popular Riri Sandals and accessorized with a backpack, enhancing the adventurous theme of her appearance.

Apart from her runway walk, Doechii also delivered a performance at the show, collaborating with fellow rapper JT. During this section of the event, she showcased a black version of the highly-anticipated “Skate Moss” boot, which is set to see a limited-edition reissue in celebration of the brand’s anniversary.

Naomi Campbell herself returned for the 2025 show, captivating the audience in her own right with a striking ensemble characterized by black skin-tight over-the-knee boots paired with a coordinating black zip-up bodysuit, presenting an edgy look in line with her iconic fashion status. The combination of Campbell’s classic appeal and Doechii’s rising star power established the event as a significant highlight in the fashion calendar, underlining the evolving intersection of music and fashion.
