Grammy-winning rapper Doechii captivates audiences at Milan Fashion Week, opening the Dsquared2 fall 2025 presentation with her edgy fashion and electrifying performance.

Doechii made a striking debut at Milan Fashion Week on February 25, 2025, as she opened the fall 2025 presentation for Dsquared2. The Grammy-winning rapper arrived in a unique manner, emerging from an armored truck that set the stage for her runway appearance. As she walked down the catwalk, her performance was amplified by the playback of her track “Nissan Altima,” which showcases her evolving musical artistry.

Her fashion statement during the show was as bold as her entrance. Doechii wore an edgy ensemble that captured the Y2K-inspired aesthetic synonymous with the Dsquared2 brand. The outfit featured a sophisticated backpack-corset paired with paracord laces, fur trim, a high-low graphic top, and belted denim microshorts. At the end of her runway walk, she playfully retrieved a cigarette from a makeshift carton attached to her sleeve, emphasizing a rebellious flair.

Previously, Doechii had donned the Italian label’s design at the iHeartRadio Music Awards, showcasing a distressed fleece dress from the fall 2024 collection. However, her fashion endeavors have often seen her aligning with Thom Browne, as evidenced by her standout appearances at the recent Grammy Awards. For the ceremony, she sported four custom creations by Browne, including an elaborate corseted gown that garnered much attention. Alongside the gown, she wore a pinstriped shift layered over a white button-down, accented with a matching tie, and adorned with Browne’s signature red, white, and blue ribbon. Sam Woolf, known for styling artists like Jhené Aiko, was responsible for Doechii’s Grammys look.

The single “Nissan Altima,” which was the centerpiece of her runway performance, is the lead track from her mixtape titled “Alligator Bites Never Heal.” This project earned Doechii the award for Best Rap Album at the recent Grammy ceremony, where she was also recognized with nominations for Best New Artist and Best Rap Performance for her single.

The Dsquared2 fall 2025 presentation marks a significant moment for the brand, coinciding with the highly anticipated reissue of the Iconic Skate boot, originally launched in 2011. The boot, which has been seen on design muse Julia Fox, features a stiletto heel designed to resemble traditional ice skates, complete with lace-up closures and “blades” incorporated into the sole. The combination of Doechii’s performance and the unveiling of innovative designs highlights the evolving intersection of fashion and music at Milan Fashion Week.
