The Dolce & Gabbana parade at Milan Fashion Week celebrated urban style and community, featuring music and a collection titled ‘Cool Girls’ that blends street aesthetics with high fashion.

During Milan Fashion Week, which brings together the global fashion elite, the Dolce & Gabbana parade emerged as a significant highlight, transforming the streets around its venue into a vibrant celebration of style and sound. Those in attendance were treated to a rare outdoor stage where popular DJ Victoria De Angelis, known for her work with the band Måneskin, set the tone with pulsating beats. This setup marked a departure from typical fashion events, which are often exclusive to celebrities, buyers, and the press, by inviting the public to partake in the spectacle.

The atmosphere was electric as attendees witnessed models strutting down the runway with the city’s street culture reflected in their outfits. The collection, designed for the upcoming Fall/Winter 2025-26 season, was titled “Cool Girls,” and emphasized a blend of streetwear aesthetics with elevated design elements. Dolce & Gabbana’s Sicilian designers showcased urban garments that elevated everyday pieces, transforming them into sought-after items for the next season.

Among the standout pieces was a camouflage green bomber jacket, showcased by top model Mica Argañaraz. This versatile garment, worn casually over layers such as slip dresses and lace tops, represents a quintessential urban look that is expected to make a significant comeback in wardrobes next autumn-winter.

Another enduring trend highlighted was leopard print, which the designers assured retains its status in fashion. This pattern appeared throughout the collection, often styled with culotte jeans and clogs, signaling its continued relevance. Models demonstrated how to incorporate animal print with contemporary urban styles, affirming its ongoing appeal.

The beanie also featured prominently in the collection, presented with a twist as a casual accessory styled high on the head, reminiscent of influences from hip-hop culture and everyday street style. This wool hat, alongside loose-fitting sporty t-shirts, painted a picture of a new wave of fashion influenced by comfort and casual aesthetics.

Dolce & Gabbana’s collection merges the concept of street and runway, providing a fresh perspective on how urban styles can influence high fashion. By removing the barrier typically seen in fashion shows, the event not only showcased innovative designs but also fostered a sense of community through music and fashion, creating a vibrant intersection of styles that resonated beyond the runway.
