The iconic Italian fashion house honors Madonna’s enduring influence during their Spring/Summer 2025 runway show, celebrating a legacy of collaboration and stylish muse.

Dolce&Gabbana, the renowned Italian fashion house, hosted its Spring/Summer 2025 runway show as a homage to one of the most iconic figures in pop culture history—Madonna. The show took place against the backdrop of the latest trends in haute couture, highlighting the longstanding connection between the brand and the legendary singer.

The collaboration between Madonna and Dolce&Gabbana began over three decades ago, with the singer donning a striking jewel-encrusted corset paired with a black blazer, jeweled gloves, and thigh-high stockings at the premiere of “Truth Or Dare: In Bed With Madonna” back in 1991. This partnership has continued to evolve, with one of the most memorable moments occurring in 2010 when Madonna was featured in a black-and-white campaign that paid tribute to traditional Italian family life.

Madonna is not the only influential woman associated with Dolce&Gabbana; several other notable figures have also served as muses throughout the brand’s history. Actress Monica Bellucci has been a prominent figure in the brand’s narrative, exemplifying Italian sensuality. Her relationship with Dolce&Gabbana spans decades, beginning with her runway appearances in the 1990s and reaching a milestone in 2024 with the launch of “Monica by Dolce&Gabbana,” a luxury monograph dedicated to her enduring influence.

Isabella Rosellini, another significant muse, first collaborated with Dolce&Gabbana in 1994. She captured the brand’s spirit and, during the Spring/Summer 2019 show, walked the runway alongside her daughter and grandson, further emphasizing the notion that fashion transcends generations.

Supermodel Naomi Campbell, close friends with brand founders Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, has been a major representative of the brand. Her association peaked in 2007 when she exited community service in New York in a sparkling Dolce&Gabbana dress, a moment that has since become iconic within the fashion world.

The Kardashian sisters, particularly Kim Kardashian, have also made their mark on the brand’s aesthetic. They collaborated on the Spring/Summer 2023 collection, “Ciao Kim,” channeling the image of glamorous Italian mafia wives. Kourtney Kardashian also famously wore a Dolce&Gabbana mini corset dress for her lavish wedding in Portofino in 2022.

The Spring/Summer 2025 runway show showcased a total of 58 models, all adorned with platinum blonde wigs and black ribbons, reminiscent of Madonna’s “Blond Ambition” era. The collection served as a celebration of sensuality, boldness, and the unique flair emblematic of Dolce&Gabbana’s legacy.

As the fashion industry continues to evolve, the influence of prominent figures like Madonna and others remains a pivotal part of Dolce&Gabbana’s narrative, solidifying their status as a cornerstone of Italian luxury fashion.
