The trade show season for the eyewear industry has recently wrapped up, showcasing a range of innovative designs and confirming that there is a strong demand for creative eyewear as the market looks ahead to 2025. On February 2, the final day of opti Munich, eyewear designer Jeff Press displayed his new designs for PRESS EYEWEAR, a brand he founded and currently leads as President and Designer. He is set to further unveil his collection at The Loft Eyewear Show, scheduled for March 13-15 in New York City at the Chelsea Industrial and Chelsea Factory in the Hudson Yards District.

Jeff Press’s journey in the eyewear industry began in 1996 with Robert Marc NYC, followed by his certification as a licensed optician. His career rapidly advanced under the mentorship of Richard Morgenthal, leading to his position as Designer for Morgenthal Frederics in 2006. In 2018, he was appointed Chief Creative Officer for Luxury Optical Holdings, where he also incorporated Robert Marc NYC into his portfolio.

Over the years, Jeff Press has gained a reputation for his innovative approach to eyewear design, particularly his experimentation with natural materials. His work includes developing a renowned collection of buffalo horn eyewear, establishing his brand at the forefront of sustainable luxury eyewear.

His design philosophy blends art and fashion, and his membership in the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) since 2015 speaks to his influence within the industry. He has collaborated with notable fashion brands such as Rag & Bone, Oscar de la Renta, Monse, and Rosie Assoulin, showcasing his versatility and artistic vision.
