Gigi Hadid embraces vibrant 70s and 80s roller-skating culture in her latest campaign for Guest in Residence, featuring bold designs and nostalgic accessories.

Gigi Hadid is capturing the essence of nostalgia with her latest appearance in Guest in Residence’s spring 2025 campaign. Accompanied by models Mali Koopman and Divine Mugisha, the supermodel encapsulates a vibrant homage to the roller-skating culture of 1970s and ’80s Los Angeles, characterized by a blend of vintage aesthetics and sporty flair.

The collection, photographed by Matteo Montanari, showcases a range of eye-catching designs set against a backdrop of serene sky-blue. Featured prominently are bold knitwear pieces, with Hadid donning bright colors such as hot pink, cherry red, and lemon yellow. The ensemble is completed with high-cut shorts and slouchy sweaters, reinforcing the campaign’s playful theme.

Stylist Zara Zachrisson has effectively tapped into retro influences, combining soft cashmere garments with nostalgic accessories, including striped socks, retro sneakers, and crochet bucket hats. Additionally, oversized sunglasses and layered pearl necklaces serve to enhance the campaign’s whimsical yet sophisticated appeal.

Among the standout items in the collection are striped polos, color-blocked cardigans, and new Racer Shorts, designed for comfort and style during warm evenings or casual days. The collection emphasizes versatility and playful layering, all while showcasing the enduring luxury of cashmere.

Guest in Residence continues to intertwine fashion with cultural references, successfully crafting a collection that pays tribute to a whimsical era in fashion and lifestyle.
