Hago House announces a strategic investment in the K-fashion brand Trimming Bird, aiming to enhance its growth and establish a stronger international presence.

Hago House announced on October 10 its decision to invest in Trimming Bird, a next-generation K-fashion brand founded by CEO Kim Min-kyung in 2016. Initially launched through a blog platform, Trimming Bird has gained recognition for its distinctive fashion aesthetic known as the “Monochrome Nomcore Look,” characterized by an achromatic palette. The brand has experienced impressive financial growth, achieving sales of 5 billion KRW in 2023 and projecting 15 billion KRW in 2024.

The brand’s success has been significantly influenced by its dedicated fan base, known as ‘Buddy,’ which primarily consists of women in their 20s and 30s. This strong community has enabled Trimming Bird to solidify its position in the competitive fashion market.

Hago House’s investment in Trimming Bird is driven by the brand’s potential for further expansion. The company intends to bolster Trimming Bird’s growth through the establishment of structured systems, management assistance, an increase in production capabilities, and the enhancement of both online and offline distribution channels. Additionally, plans are underway for Trimming Bird to enter international markets.

Kim Min-kyung, the CEO of Trimming Bird, expressed optimism about the partnership with Hago House, stating, “With Hago House’s support, we are not only looking forward to expanding our business strategy but also anticipate meeting more customers at various touchpoints. Especially since we now have the opportunity to fully enter the overseas market, we will prepare to leap forward as a fashion brand with global competitiveness.”

A representative from Hago House highlighted the expectations for Trimming Bird, noting, “Trimming Bird is expected to grow into a competitive K-fashion brand globally, beyond domestic boundaries, with its strong brand fandom and unique heritage. Hago House plans to provide ample support with specialized incubating personnel and know-how.”

As Hago House and Trimming Bird embark on this new chapter of collaboration, industry observers will be watching closely to see how this investment shapes the future of K-fashion on the global stage.
