New Delhi: At Bharat Tex 2025, HimGra was awarded the Textile Startup Grand Challenge by the Ministry of Textiles for its innovative sustainable practices. The startup is forging global partnerships to expand its eco-conscious product offerings and enhance its influence in the fashion sector across continents.

At Bharat Tex 2025, a significant event held in the Sustainability Pavilion, Hall No. 3, HimGra has secured the esteemed Textile Startup Grand Challenge Award, an accolade presented by the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India. This award highlights HimGra’s dedication to sustainability and innovation in the textile sector, reflecting its notable socio-economic influence.

HimGra is making strides in the global market through alliances with prominent international brands. The startup has collaborated with NOVICA in the USA to introduce sustainable luxury fashion to North American consumers. Additionally, HimGra is expanding its reach into Europe through partnerships with Scoltex, targeting the fashion and home textile industry there. The company is also reinforcing its presence in emerging sustainable fashion hubs in Russia and Dubai through collaborations with Malwan and local partners.

During the event, Ms. Cinzia, CEO of Ital Tex Srl, showcased the HimGra Women’s Wear Trend Book for Autumn/Winter 2026/27. This new collection exemplifies HimGra’s commitment to integrating luxury with responsible sourcing, presenting a new benchmark in sustainable high-fashion apparel.

In a move further enhancing its global outreach, HimGra is collaborating with prestigious fashion institutions such as the North Columbia Institute of Fashion in the USA, Kairo Fashion Academy in Egypt, and the Osaka School of Design in Japan. These partnerships aim to drive research and innovation, thereby promoting the incorporation of HimGra textiles into fashion education worldwide.

HimGra also unveiled several sustainable fabric innovations during the event, including Jinal HimGra Denim, a responsible choice for eco-conscious denim brands; HimGra Linen, a premium and breathable fabric designed to minimize environmental impact; HimGra Marino, a unique wool blend that combines warmth and comfort; and HimGra Tusser, a silk-textured fabric suited for high-end fashion and interior applications.

The company has formed a partnership with Testtex to develop HimGra Identification Standards, ensuring a high level of quality assurance and authenticity for brands and buyers alike. This initiative aligns with HimGra’s overarching goal to lead the transformation of the textile industry toward sustainability.

The recognition from the Ministry of Textiles at Bharat Tex 2025 serves to reinforce HimGra’s position as a leader in the sustainable fashion narrative, especially as global brands increasingly seek carbon-neutral and ethically sourced materials.
