London: Holly Willoughby shines in a sparkly black midi dress during a special 80s week episode of ‘Dancing On Ice’. Captivating the audience, the show featured retro outfits and nostalgic songs, while Willoughby shared contrasting adventures with Bear Grylls in the jungle earlier in the week.

Holly Willoughby, the 44-year-old television presenter, captured the spirit of the 1980s as she appeared on a special episode of “Dancing On Ice” on Sunday, donning a sparkly black midi dress that accentuated her figure. The broadcast, themed around the iconic decade, featured contestants dressed in outfits reminiscent of the era and skating to popular songs from that time.

Ahead of the show, Willoughby took to Instagram to unveil her outfit, captioning her post with details about the night’s theme: “Tonight on @dancingonice it’s 80’s week… and it’s the return of the group skate! Brace yourself for big songs and bigger hair!” The presenter completed her striking look with 80s-inspired Givenchy rings and silver Stuart Weitzman heels while letting her shoulder-length blonde hair flow freely.

Co-host Stephen Mulhern also embraced the 80s theme, showcasing a dramatic auburn mullet hairstyle paired with an oversized light blue suit, adding to the nostalgic atmosphere of the show.

During the competition, “EastEnders” star Charlie Brooks, 43, who was partnered with professional skater Eric Radford, competed intensely against former footballer Anton Ferdinand, 39, in a battle for a spot in the skate-off. Ultimately, Brooks was eliminated from the competition, expressing her readiness to leave after putting in “weeks of hard graft”.

Willoughby experienced a stark contrast in her public appearances, having shared a photo earlier in the week from the set of “Celebrity Bear Hunt,” where she donned a much less polished look. In the image, she was covered in mud alongside Bear Grylls, who had been overseeing her adventure in the Costa Rican jungle. Sharing the selfie with her 8.3million Instagram followers, she cheekily remarked about Grylls’ influence on her appearance, stating: “When @beargrylls is in charge of your makeup!… Thanks for the adventure Bear… total LEGEND!”

In response, Grylls expressed his gratitude towards Willoughby on social media, acknowledging her support during the challenging filming process. He shared a muddy snapshot of them both, writing: “@hollywilloughby thanks for being such a rock for everyone throughout #BearHunt @netflix @netflixuk adventure!” Willoughby replied, playfully hinting at her sparkling appearance relative to Grylls, noting: “I look way too clean in this photo…”

The unique juxtaposition of Willoughby’s glamorous presentation and her adventurous side reflects her multifaceted career in the spotlight.
