James Long’s latest collection for Iceberg highlights the brand’s expertise in knitwear, featuring a blend of cozy designs and tailored pieces that embrace contemporary style.

At the recent fashion showcase, Iceberg’s creative director, James Long, presented a thoughtfully curated coed lineup that highlighted the brand’s expertise in knitwear. The collection featured a blend of beautiful and cozy cocooning knits, effectively showcasing Iceberg’s long-standing design tradition.

Among the standout pieces were ribbed sweaters designed with sailor collars and oversized knits adorned with wool panels on the shoulders, creating an intriguing visual contrast. The collection also echoed a mariniere theme, with several knits exhibiting maxistripes that evoke a timeless nautical feel.

In addition to knitwear, Long incorporated tailored pieces into the mix, including fluid low-waist pants and elegant jackets layered over ruched chiffon blouses. Statement coats were also a feature, with some designs boasting metallic eyelet details and eco-leather piping. Checkered motifs prominently appeared throughout the collection, adding a distinctive touch to several looks.

For casual styling, bonded cardigans paired with soft denim pants underscored Iceberg’s long association with this fabric. The collection embraced a sense of fluidity and ease, further exemplified by dainty pleated mini and knee-length skirts.

James Long’s collection at Iceberg emphasizes layering and creativity, offering wearable designs infused with a sense of fun, appealing to a broad audience. The creative direction taken by Long reflects Iceberg’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of contemporary knitwear while maintaining a connection to its heritage.
