Glasgow’s IOLLA celebrates a decade in business with a new line of customizable sunglasses and tints, enhancing customer choice and maintaining affordability.

IOLLA, an eyewear brand based in Glasgow, has announced the launch of a new line of sunglasses and custom tint options, coinciding with the company’s 10th anniversary. Founded in 2015, IOLLA has established itself as a significant player in the competitive eyewear market, focusing on stylish yet affordable products.

The new offerings, which include five colored tints, four gradient lenses, and a total of 34 frames across 12 models, represent a considerable expansion of the company’s product portfolio. IOLLA aims to provide greater choices for personal expression and customization. Customers will now be able to choose custom tints for both the new and existing frames, adding a personal touch to their eyewear.

Stefan Hunter, the founder and CEO of IOLLA, emphasized the brand’s commitment to innovation and customer expression. In an interview, he stated, “For the past decade, we’ve been redefining eyewear, designing frames that blend style, quality and accessibility. Innovation has always been at the heart of IOLLA, and this launch marks our next evolution.”

Kirsty Humpherson, IOLLA’s Marketing Manager, noted that the new product line responds to a growing demand for individual style in eyewear. “Our new custom tints and sunglass options reflect our continued commitment to innovate and respond to our community’s needs,” she said.

Maintaining its commitment to affordable pricing, IOLLA’s sunglasses will continue to retail at £85, with an additional cost for prescription and custom tints. The company has managed to keep prices stable over the last three years, a notable achievement given the rising costs in today’s economic climate.

Hunter expressed pride in the company’s ability to maintain its pricing strategy while enhancing product offerings, stating, “Even as costs continue to rise across the board, we’re proud to have kept our prices stable and offer even greater value to our customers.”

As IOLLA enters its next decade, the brand plans to prioritize innovation and community engagement. Hunter conveyed gratitude for the support they have received, adding, “The feedback we receive from our customers is what drives us to keep evolving.”
