Julia Stiles has made a splash in the fashion world with her striking red ensembles while promoting her new film ‘Wish You Were Here,’ marking her debut as a director.

Julia Stiles has been making headlines recently with a series of striking red ensembles, showcasing her evolving role as both an actor and director. The notable appearances coincided with the promotion of her new film “Wish You Were Here,” marking her directorial debut.

On her latest outing, Stiles appeared on “The Kelly Clarkson Show” to discuss her film. For this taping, she selected a striking asymmetrical midi-length red dress featuring a V-neck design. This outfit, designed by the New York-based brand Ashlyn, highlighted the theme of symmetry that the brand explored in their spring 2023 line. Stiles accessorized with a gold chain and a pair of red pumps crafted by Marion Parke, a footwear label known for designs made by a foot and ankle surgeon. Additional accessories included rings from Natasha Schweitzer and Ashaha, contributing to her polished look on set.

Stiles’ fashion choices have consistently radiated elegance, with her most recent public appearances allowing her wardrobe to take center stage. On February 14, she attended “SNL 50: The Homecoming Concert,” where she donned a tailored red suit from Dorothee Schumacher, complete with a stylish waistcoat and pleated trousers, also pairing the outfit with her Marion Parke heels.

At the subsequent “SNL 50: The Anniversary Special,” Stiles opted for a deeper shade of red, wearing a sophisticated draped dress by Stella McCartney. The floor-length garment featured a peekaboo cutout at the chest, wrapped snugly around her torso, and was paired with rings and earrings from jeweler Grace Lee.

As for “Wish You Were Here,” the film, inspired by a book of the same name, allows Stiles to apply her extensive experience in the film industry in a new capacity as a director. “I think it’s being a passenger on a long car trip for so many hours, and then you finally get your own driver’s license,” she explained to Women’s Wear Daily. Stiles elaborated on her passion for acting and performance, noting her two-and-a-half decades of experience and her desire to take a more active role in film production. “I’ve been in on those conversations, blocking rehearsals and where to put the camera, and I wanted to be in the driver’s seat,” she stated.

As Stiles continues to navigate her dual roles as an actress and a director, her fashion choices, particularly her recent focus on red attire, have captured public attention, highlighting her dynamic presence both on and off the screen.
