K-Way is set to launch its flagship store at 120 King’s Road in London as part of its 60th-anniversary celebrations and expansion plans.

K-Way, the fashion brand renowned for its adventurous and functional outdoor attire, is set to open its flagship store at 120 King’s Road in London later this month. This significant opening represents K-Way’s commitment to global expansion, particularly following a €190 million investment received from Pereira. The launch comes as part of the brand’s 60th-anniversary celebrations, signaling a robust year of growth and innovation.

CEO Lorenzo Boglione emphasized the importance of this milestone, stating, “It’s a year of investment… of expansion…of opening many new stores.” He further elaborated on his vision for the brand, expressing aspirations for K-Way to become a true global name. “We want to make it a real global brand, which we feel it deserves to be,” he noted.

In addition to the flagship store, K-Way is orchestrating the launch of the ‘In Y/Our Life’ exhibition. This contemporary art showcase is slated to debut in Milan during Fashion Week and will then travel to London for Photo London, eventually making its way to Seoul and Paris. Boglione indicated that this form of celebration is distinct, saying, “We are not celebrating with a big party, but with 15 brands that share a uniqueness. The artists we are collaborating with are also incredible.”

Designed by esteemed architect Andrea Caputo, the 120 square meter store space reflects a modern minimalist aesthetic, aligning with K-Way’s core values of functionality and timeless style. The design aims to enhance the brand’s offerings, presenting K-Way’s products with an elegant yet dynamic atmosphere, featuring bold, colorful panels that pay homage to the iconic rain jackets the brand is known for.

The launch of the flagship store aligns with recent openings of sister brands Superga and Sebago, also located on King’s Road, creating a vibrant lifestyle hub in the heart of London. Boglione remarked on the significance of this new location, noting, “This new opening represents a pivotal milestone in our European expansion journey.” He described London as a crucial hub for innovation and commerce, underscoring K-Way’s strategic commitment to the UK market as they look to solidify their presence across Europe.
