Luxury brand Kiki de Montparnasse is set to debut its first swimwear collection, marking a significant expansion into lifestyle offerings while maintaining its commitment to quality and empowerment.

Kiki de Montparnasse, a luxury brand known for its lingerie, ready-to-wear, and pleasure products, is officially expanding its offerings to include swimwear with the launch of its inaugural collection set to debut on Monday. This strategic move signifies the brand’s evolution into a comprehensive lifestyle label.

In an interview with Women’s Wear Daily, the brand’s global president, Alexa Cahill, shared her enthusiasm for this new venture, stating, “I’ve been with the company now for one year, and I think about one month in, I connected with our vice president of design and I said I would really like to give swim a go. We already have the patterns. We already have our fit down. We already have this arsenal that we could use, and it’s a natural segue into swimwear.”

The introduction of swimwear follows the successful launch of a bridal collection last year, which drew a diverse customer base, expanding from the brand’s existing Gen X clientele to include younger consumers from Generation Z and Millennials. Cahill emphasized the aim to capture an “ageless fashion customer” through this new line, highlighting their commitment to providing products that fit well and use high-quality fabrics.

The debut swimwear collection features a total of 21 distinct styles, including one-piece swimsuits, bikinis, and cover-ups. The collection showcases various color options such as classic black and ivory, “mink” pink, “tortue” green, and “la mer” blue. Cahill noted that many designs honor the brand’s lingerie roots, incorporating minimalist yet luxurious elements. For example, the asymmetrical one-piece bathing suit is a reinterpretation of an archival design that was originally conceived a decade ago but never produced.

Among the standout pieces is the long-sleeve, backless Peep Show Rash Guard, which incorporates side mesh panels, and the Lace Inset Balconette Bikini, featuring waterproof lace details reminiscent of Kiki de Montparnasse’s best-selling lingerie. The collection also offers a variety of cover-ups, including the beach-ready Diamante romper and stylish cotton voile sets suitable for both beach outings and casual bars.

The swimwear collection is priced between $150 and $550 and will be sold exclusively on the brand’s e-commerce platform, as well as through select retail partners, including Net-a-Porter and Saks Fifth Avenue. Following the spring swimwear launch, Kiki de Montparnasse plans to release additional offerings, including a “buy now, wear now” collection in May and another for the resort season in 2026.

Cahill conveyed her excitement for this new category, stating, “We think it’s a natural extension and part of our growth opportunity. Kiki is about women’s empowerment. With swim, we’re giving that woman that confidence and just really making her feel empowered when she goes out, whether she’s going on a yacht or taking a dive into the pool.”
