The event took place following the prestigious BAFTA awards, and Wyatt, aged 43, showcased her sense of style by wearing a chic black mini dress for the occasion.
The dress, characterised by its daring cut-out design at the chest and long sleeves, highlighted Wyatt’s long legs with its thigh-skimming hemline. She complemented her outfit with black heels and a matching handbag, presenting a polished look as her blonde hair fell loosely around her face, which appeared smooth and youthful.
As she posed outside the venue, Kimberly appeared to be in great spirits before entering the event. The Daily Mail is reporting that her stylish appearance comes after she spoke about her commitment to sustainable fashion practices, revealing in December that she aims to wear each new clothing item at least thirty times before considering reselling it.
Speaking to the Mail, Wyatt articulated her dedication to sustainability, stating, “Sustainability has been a huge importance of mine for a really, really long time. So, it’s nice to be there after over ten years of campaigning and being kind of a mindful consumer, that we’ve come to a point where sustainability has become a cool factor as well.”
Her passion for sustainable shopping is evident in her choices, as she frequently purchases clothing from resale platforms like Depop. She elaborated on her approach, noting the importance of the circular economy: “I think it’s a great way to close the circular economy and make sure that those items of clothing that you’ve always loved can find second homes.”
Wyatt also expressed her views on the benefits of renting and upcycling garments for significant events, and highlighted her experience as a mother, indicating that her children’s rapid growth often necessitates a quick turnover of their clothing. “I can’t keep up with my kids’ growth. They can wear clothes for maybe six months before it starts getting short sleeves in the legs,” she commented.
Reflecting on her upbringing, Wyatt noted her early exposure to secondhand shopping, saying, “I’ve always been a secondhand girl. My mum always took us to garage sales, and I was always in the hand me downs from my brothers and sisters.” She has carried this lifestyle into her own family, where she finds that secondhand shopping has gained new appeal. “It’s much cooler to do the whole secondhand shopping and passing down now,” she added.
