Kyocera Document Solutions teamed up with fashion brand ANREALAGE to unveil a unique collection featuring innovative technology at Paris Fashion Week 2025.

Kyocera Document Solutions Inc. recently showcased a unique collaboration with Japanese fashion brand ANREALAGE during Paris Fashion Week 2025. The collection, designed by Kunihiko Morinaga, made its debut on March 5 at the American Cathedral, featuring 24 outfits, 20 of which were crafted using fabrics printed with Kyocera’s inkjet textile printer known as “FOREARTH.”

Morinaga’s collection, which received praise for its innovative use of technology and art, was accompanied by a musical performance from Thomas Bangalter, a former member of the electronic duo Daft Punk. Attendees described the event as a seamless integration of fashion, art, and the cathedral’s historic architecture, creating a memorable experience.

The collaboration marks its third phase and this collection embraced the theme “SCREEN,” wherein the garments served as mediums to project light. Morinaga highlighted the capabilities of FOREARTH’s eight-color ink printing technology, which allows for vibrant color reproduction that surpasses traditional four-color printing methods. He emphasized that this technology can create vivid visual effects without compromising the integrity of various fabrics.

“By breaking free from static design constraints and redefining fashion as a more dynamic and fluid medium, our vision aligned deeply with FOREARTH’s concept of ‘Creative Free,’” Morinaga explained. He noted that the advancements in printing technology have opened new avenues for fashion expression, allowing garments to embody diverse visual representations.

Kyocera promotes that its printing technology, particularly the water-independent, location-free capability, facilitates a cohesive creative workflow by allowing installations close to production sites, thus minimizing lead times. As fashion and technology continue to intersect, this collaboration signifies a further exploration of how advanced printing can enhance the industry.
