Levi’s honors its rock ‘n’ roll heritage with a new collection of vintage-inspired t-shirts celebrating the influential indie rock band Sonic Youth.

Levi’s, the renowned denim brand, is well-known for its deep-rooted connections with the music industry, having collaborated with iconic artists such as the Ramones, George Harrison, and Beyoncé. Expanding on this rich musical legacy, the brand is now emphasizing its rock ‘n’ roll heritage through a series of band tee collaborations that pay homage to influential underground musicians. The latest release is a collection showcasing the impact of the iconic indie rock band Sonic Youth.

Available for purchase now, this collaboration features five vintage-inspired t-shirts that incorporate Levi’s distinctive design elements. Sonic Youth, which was fronted by the husband-and-wife duo of Thurston Moore and Kim Gordon, was pivotal in shaping the indie rock scene over its 30-year run until its disbandment in 2011. The band is celebrated for its experimental sound and cultural influence, making it a fitting choice for Levi’s latest endeavor.

The collection includes various designs, each retailing at $40. Among the offerings are prints such as Animal Grid, Bomb Pop, and Dirty Bunny, showcased on white shirts, along with Dirty Alien on green fabric and Washing Machine on black. All t-shirts are crafted from heavyweight, 100% cotton fabric and boast a boxy, relaxed fit.
