Levi Strauss & Co. introduces the Lot 201 jeans and Lot 213 jacket, blending vintage style with modern design at an affordable price.

Levi Strauss & Co. has unveiled the Lot 201 jeans and Lot 213 jacket, a revival of historical styles that pays homage to the brand’s iconic heritage while incorporating modern design elements. The Lot 201 jeans, originally introduced in 1890, were created as a more budget-friendly alternative to the classic 501 jeans, aiming to provide affordability without sacrificing quality. These jeans are carefully crafted from Japanese shrink-to-fit™ selvage denim and feature key design details such as a cinch back, copper rivets, and a distinctive black brand donut button. The denim utilizes a blue line instead of the traditional red selvedge, merging homage to the original design with contemporary aesthetics.

Similarly, the Lot 213 jacket, which accompanies the Lot 201 jeans, is designed using the same materials and specifications. This jacket serves as a budget-friendly recreation of the Type 1 jacket from the 1920s, meticulously replicating characteristic details from that era. It includes components like a fabric two-horse patch, cinch, and copper rivets, enhancing the work style synonymous with the roaring twenties.

Paul O’Neill, the design director for Levi’s®, commented on the release, stating, “Lot 201 and Lot 213 are items that symbolize the history of Levi’s®, embodying the brand’s philosophy of offering high-quality products at any price point.” With the launch of these pieces, Levi’s® continues to celebrate its long-standing tradition of creating durable and stylish apparel that resonates with both historical significance and modern trends. The Lot 201 jeans and Lot 213 jacket are available for ¥60,500 each, reflecting the brand’s commitment to affordability and quality.
