LILYSILK, the world’s largest silk clothing brand, has officially launched its first concept store in the Meatpacking District of Manhattan, New York City. The grand opening took place on February 27, 2025, located at 654 Hudson Street. This new retail location marks a significant milestone in LILYSILK’s journey, highlighting their commitment to high-quality silk craftsmanship and sustainable fashion.
The store embodies the brand’s aesthetic and mission, showcasing a refined design that aligns with its upscale surroundings. The interior, crafted by ViaClover, a recognized design firm from Southern California, features a clean LILAC WHITE backdrop complemented by touches of LILAC GREEN, creating an inviting and elegant shopping experience.
Alexander Meder, Vice President and General Manager of LILYSILK Retail & Wholesale, emphasized the uniqueness of the store, stating, “The store is a blank canvas that allows us to showcase LILYSILK creations.” He further noted the luxurious atmosphere enhanced by artwork in LILAC GREEN and comfortable lounge areas, which contribute to a home-like feel.
The opening event attracted over 100 media representatives, industry professionals, and brand loyalists. It provided a platform for LILYSILK to present its creative vision and featured the public debut of the brand’s Creative Director, Yijia Shen. Guests were offered exclusive LILYSILK Dreamer sets—consisting of a silk pillowcase, an eye mask, and silk scrunchies—all aimed at promoting better sleep and relaxation. Attendees also had the opportunity for custom embroidery on their purchases, facilitated by two embroidery machines set up in-store.
Customers visiting the concept store will find it open on the following schedule:
- Monday: Closed
- Tuesday to Friday: 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Saturday: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Sunday: 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM
