Established by Masamuel Khoanyane, the boutique has cultivated a strong reputation for delivering quality and innovative designs that cater to young girls and women.
Khoanyane, who personally oversees the creative process, focuses on creating stylish clothing that emphasizes elegance and individuality. In addition to her fashion offerings, she also produces durable school uniforms tailored to the needs of her clients. “The prices of my products differ in terms of sizes and patterns that the person wants but for school uniforms, because their orders come in bulk, their prices range from M240.00 to M360.00,” Khoanyane explained in a discussion about her pricing strategy.
One of the hallmarks of Sammy Happy Fashion Designer is its commitment to timely delivery. Khoanyane noted that this punctuality distinguishes her shop from others in the sewing business. Moreover, she emphasized the importance of trust in her transactions. “Sometimes we receive money from people who do not know us, requiring our services, therefore, to maintain trust as it is key to our business, we always manage to deliver as agreed on,” she said, highlighting her business principles.
In terms of growth, Khoanyane reflected on her journey over the years, noting that she began the venture alone but has since expanded her team to include five employees. “We started in a single room but now we afford to pay rent for two separate working rooms,” she added, indicating a positive trend in the business’s development.
Khoanyane also mentioned the potential for offering discounts to members of the Finite Magazine lifestyle club, suggesting that a ten percent discount could be beneficial.
Sammy Happy Fashion Designer is situated in the Beauty Centre, Room 1, and Khoanyane maintains a presence on social media, operating on Facebook under the name Mankopane Letlala Khoanyane. With a promise that “every stitch is crafted with passion and a promise to deliver,” Khoanyane continues to build her brand as a reliable contributor to Lesotho’s fashion industry.
