Medeea’s journey into the world of fashion began during her teenage years, a time when she discovered her affinity for various styles and trends. “I’ve always felt that clothes are not just pieces of clothing, but also a way to express my personality and mood,” she explained. She highlighted that her evolving understanding of fashion intertwines with creativity, individuality, and a sense of empowerment, especially for women. “Women’s fashion has always fascinated me with its diversity, giving me the opportunity to play with colours, textures, and silhouettes,” she stated.
With a degree in Clothing Design from the National University of Arts in Bucharest, Medeea felt a mix of readiness and confusion following her studies. She recognised that formal education does not entirely prepare one for the multitude of challenges in the industry. Nevertheless, she took a pivotal step to establish her brand, poised to encapsulate her vision.
The MEDEEA brand embodies a distinct aesthetic centred on what she describes as a fusion of elegance, feminine masculinity, and power, featuring masculine lines and refined details crafted from high-quality materials. Sustainability and inclusivity are core principles driving her work. “I want the MEDEEA brand to promote diversity, inclusivity, and sustainability,” she asserted. This commitment is reflected in the thoughtful design of classic pieces that can seamlessly integrate into existing wardrobes, encouraging responsible consumption.
In describing her ideal client, Medeea noted that her creations resonate with sophisticated, self-assured women who are conscious of their personal appearance and the broader societal impacts of their choices. Her inspiration springs from various avenues, including art, culture, and travel, alongside interactions with others, which continually inform her creative output. “I enjoy challenges and always strive to push my limits in the creative process,” she remarked.

She emphasised her dedication to ensuring that all production stages are conducted safely and sustainably, utilising recycled or biodegradable packaging to minimise environmental impact.
Looking back on her journey thus far, Medeea has discovered the importance of passion and authenticity in creating marketable fashion. “Without active passion, things would become very difficult,” she noted, while also acknowledging the significance of surrounding oneself with the right people in maintaining a successful career.
