Designer Meredith Stoecklein, known for her bridal creations, introduces her first ready-to-wear line, blending modern designs with everyday wear aesthetics ahead of New York Bridal Fashion Week.

Designer Meredith Stoecklein, known for her New York-based label Lein, has announced her first official foray into ready-to-wear fashion, marking a significant expansion of her brand ahead of the anticipated debut of her bridal collection during New York Bridal Fashion Week in early April. Since the label’s inception in 2016, Stoecklein’s bridal collections have been characterized by a blend of wedding and ready-to-wear styles, showcasing a range of meticulously crafted and distinctive designs aimed at modern brides.

Speaking about her new ready-to-wear line for the fall 2025 season, Stoecklein shared insights during a preview held in her SoHo studio, stating, “Fall has been in the works, and I had been thinking about it for awhile, because we do so much bespoke and custom for clients.” She expressed her vision for the new collection, emphasizing that her designs are not only suitable for bridal occasions but can also be integrated into everyday wardrobes. “For me, they’ve always been pieces you can pull out of your closet to feel a little more elevated,” she added.

The fall 2025 collection will feature a variety of known silhouettes reimagined with innovative prints, textures, and details. Notable pieces include the updated ‘Dorothy’ gown, which is enhanced with hand-painted and hand-embroidered silver goose feathers and paillettes. Other items, such as scarf dresses and tops, are crafted in shimmering champagne-hued Lurex, while the signature Evie lace dress has been reinterpreted in chenille combined with mohair and wool.

In exploring her artistic inspirations, Stoecklein mentioned drawing from the Italian Renaissance. She pointed to works like Leonardo Da Vinci’s “Leda and the Swan” and admired the ornate plasterwork seen in palazzo ceilings. This artistic influence is manifested in her designs, including a tailored jacket adorned with a handmade Parisian lacquered cameo button that reflects the mythical theme, as well as feathered corsages paired with sculptural gowns. Flowing shirt dresses, delicately made from pastel organza, feature ceiling motifs as part of the design language.

The new collection, which comprises 40 pieces—her largest offering to date—represents a significant step in expanding the Lein brand’s presence in the fashion landscape. Following its introduction, Stoecklein plans to showcase the collection through trunk shows at her New York studio, and the items will also be available for purchase on the brand’s e-commerce platform. Prices within the collection vary widely, ranging from $758 up to $6,598, with one dress priced as high as $13,998.
