The GREY/VEN runway show titled ‘The Journey’ at NYFW marks a milestone for both the brand and Miami Swim Week, showcasing innovative styles and trends for Winter 2025–2026.

At this year’s New York Fashion Week (NYFW), Miami Swim Week® (MSW) captured considerable attention with the GREY/VEN runway show titled “The Journey.” The show took place at Casa Cipriani in February, marking a significant milestone for both MSW and GREY/VEN, as it was the brand’s inaugural solo runway presentation.

The GREY/VEN Fall 2025 collection, crafted by CFDA-recognized designer Ilana Kugel, showcased innovative styles designed for the dynamic lifestyles of contemporary women. Among the standout pieces were a long leather dress featuring a triple-buckled waist, trench coats adorned with bold plaid patterns layered over sleek bodysuits, and soft cardigans paired with leather pants. The collection’s color palette, including deep reds, light blues, browns, beiges, and blacks, provided versatile options suitable for everyday wear while maintaining a hint of utility.

Another highlight of the show was the unveiling of GREY/VEN’s first handbag collection, which is slated for release later this year. The brand’s commitment to merging functionality with chic design was evident in the assortment, which included soft slouchy totes, structured crossbody bags, and angular clutches crafted from leather.

Stylist Daria Beloyvan, a representative of Miami Swim Week®, attended NYFW and shared her insights on emerging trends for the Winter 2025–2026 season. In addition to her presence at the GREY/VEN showcase, Beloyvan participated in multiple shows throughout the week, providing a comprehensive overview of the latest shifts in the fashion landscape.

Beloyvan highlighted several key trends expected to impact the upcoming season, including:

  • Grunge Revival: Designers like Coach and Collina Strada presented modern interpretations of grunge, incorporating layered looks, vintage-inspired tees, and oversized sweaters that convey a relaxed yet edgy aesthetic.

  • Silver Maximalism: The runway exhibited a dominance of sequins and metallic fabrics, with designers such as Tyler McGillivary and Carolina Herrera featuring glistening silver outfits that transform traditional silhouettes with a futuristic flair.

  • “Corp Core” Aesthetic: Michael Kors showcased a collection that blended fitted suits and oversized coats, offering a contemporary take on business casual attire that emphasizes both comfort and professionalism.

  • Bold Reds: The color red made a significant impact as vibrant hues were prominently used by designers like Tory Burch and Sergio Hudson, who utilized these shades in monochromatic ensembles and statement pieces to convey strength and confidence.

The presence of Beloyvan at NYFW signifies Miami Swim Week’s dedication to remaining a leader in fashion innovation and trend forecasting. Her insights serve as valuable information for both fashion aficionados and industry experts, contributing to the ongoing conversation about evolving styles in the world of fashion.
