The latest spring campaign by Michael Kors features a Mediterranean-inspired collection, capturing the charm of Ibiza with high-profile personalities and a new content series on boutique hotels.

Michael Kors continues to intertwine fashion and travel with the launch of his latest spring campaign, set against the picturesque backdrop of Ibiza. Renowned photographer Mert Alas captured the essence of the Mediterranean-inspired collection featuring high-profile personalities, including actor and musician Suki Waterhouse and actor Logan Lerman. The campaign took place at the Montesol Experimental Hotel, a venue with nearly a century of history that has welcomed a variety of notable guests including Princess Caroline of Monaco and members of the band Pink Floyd.

Kors highlighted the allure of Ibiza, stating, “It’s got charm, character, great beaches and this wonderful sort of hippie boho vibe mixed with a very modern glamour.” He expressed his enthusiasm for collaborating with Waterhouse, describing her as “the epitome of a hyphenate — a fabulous singer, writer, performer and actress with amazing personal style.”

The spring collection includes a range of versatile clothing items, such as airy button-ups, textured mini dresses, and bold gold jewelry, designed with travel in mind, allowing for easy mixing, matching, and packing. Waterhouse spoke about her involvement with the campaign, noting her longstanding relationship with Michael Kors and how she was thrilled to wear a pink coat at a previous show, which echoed her personal style on her tour for her album, “Memoir of a Sparklemuffin.”

Reflecting on the campaign shoot, Waterhouse shared her excitement about working with Mert Alas in Ibiza, mentioning its rarity to combine a vacation feel with professional duties while remarking, “It’s just an entirely different thing when you actually get a moment to enjoy your surroundings and then shoot in them.”

The campaign also marks the launch of “Hotel Stories,” a new content series by Michael Kors that will spotlight different boutique hotels each season. The series aims to provide glimpses into local cultures through various lifestyle segments, including interviews with local artisans.

Waterhouse expressed her fondness for Michael Kors, particularly his commitment to creating pieces that emphasize both elegance and comfort, observing, “I’ve always gone to Michael Kors for an incredible coat… you should feel beautiful but in an effortless way.” Additionally, she shared her impressions from a recent Michael Kors runway show, describing it as an exciting and transformative experience that left her inspired by the new design direction.
