Microsoft has announced a collaboration with Curated for You to enhance its AI assistant, Copilot, by integrating AI-driven fashion recommendations into its services. This partnership aims to provide users with tailored fashion suggestions through natural conversation, leveraging context-based curation drawn from individual lifestyles and experiences.

Copilot, part of Microsoft’s suite of applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and the Edge browser, acts as a conversational interface that simplifies content generation, insight provision, and task automation. The addition of Curated for You’s platform will enable users to discover fashion items more effectively while interacting with the AI assistant.

Katy Aucoin, the CEO of Curated for You, emphasized the significance of this collaboration, stating, “This collaboration represents a transformative step forward in how consumers discover fashion.” According to Aucoin, the integration will create personalized shopping interactions that resemble conversations with a familiar advisor who understands the user’s preferences.

The initiative intends to evolve continually, enhancing not only how consumers find fashion items but also improving the connection between brands and engaged shoppers through a conversational AI interface. Jennifer Myers, Principal Product Manager for Microsoft Shopping, noted the broader goals of the collaboration, stating, “With generative AI, we’re elevating the customer shopping experience by infusing it with empathy and intention.” Myers added that this partnership aims to address the lasting dilemma of wardrobe choices by taking into account each user’s unique tastes and lifestyle.
