Monica Lewinsky made a fashionable appearance on ‘Today with Jenna & Friends,’ discussing her new podcast while sporting striking Gucci colorblock pumps.

Monica Lewinsky made a fashionable appearance while promoting her new podcast, “Reclaiming,” on February 19 on “Today with Jenna & Friends.” She showcased a perfectly coordinated outfit featuring a pink sweater and red pants, complemented by a striking pair of Gucci pink, red, and gold colorblock t-strap pumps.

The Gucci pumps, characterized by their gold pointed toe, fuchsia suede vamp and t-strap, along with a merlot red counter, ankle strap, and heel, feature a 4.25-inch high stiletto heel. Lewinsky shared on her Instagram that she purchased the shoes at a Gucci outlet a decade ago for $150, a significant discount from their retail price of approximately $900. Currently, these shoes are available for resale on platforms like The RealReal.

The shoes not only embody Lewinsky’s sense of style but also highlight the cyclical nature of fashion. The colorblock design, reminiscent of trends from the mid-2010s and the vibrant styles of the 1980s, speaks to the enduring appeal of the pointed-toe pump. These pumps are a classic choice among women’s footwear, favored for their versatility and elegance, and have experienced a resurgence in popularity recently, particularly the pointed-toe variations with a slim stiletto heel.

Lewinsky’s affinity for pointed-toe pumps extends beyond these Gucci shoes. She has been seen in various styles, ranging from classic black to a bold leopard-print pair with a sparkling crystal strap, which she wore during events for “Impeachment: American Crime Story” in 2022.

During her segment on “Today,” Lewinsky elaborated on the premise of her podcast, saying, “The act of reclaiming is about getting something back that was lost or taken from you.” The podcast is now available across various platforms, with her initial guests including Alan Cumming and Olivia Munn.
