Sfashion Weekend in Mosso aims to tackle consumerism in fashion with talks, shows, and debates from February 21 to 23, 2024.

From February 21 to 23, 2024, the town of Mosso, located in northern Italy, will host the Sfashion Weekend, a three-day event focused on sustainable fashion. This event aims to address the pressing concerns related to consumerism in the fashion industry, highlighting the significant impact of textiles on people, the environment, and communities.

Organized by Fair and the Clean Clothes Campaign, in partnership with various civil society organizations, Sfashion Weekend offers free access for attendees, combining awareness with action just ahead of the highly anticipated Milan Fashion Week. The festival is co-produced and hosted by Mosso, marking an effort to initiate crucial discussions within the realm of sustainable fashion.

Throughout the weekend, participants will have the opportunity to attend thematic talks, enjoy fashion shows, and engage in interactive exchanges with activists, experts, workers, and industry professionals, as well as individuals seeking to reform their consumption habits.

The core of the program features four critical debates that address essential topics such as labor rights, the concept of greenwashing, and alternative economic frameworks. These discussions aim to foster a vision of fashion that is mindful of the planet’s ecological limits while promoting social justice.

For those interested in participating, more details and the full schedule of events can be accessed on the dedicated website for the Sfashion Weekend. Admission is free, but prior reservation is required.
